Description

Planning an NIA grant submission? EdDem is now inviting Network members to participate in our December 2026 Grant Mentoring Workshop, which provides structured feedback on planned ADRD grant submissions.

Each participant will be matched with two ADRD researchers with experience serving on NIA study sections. During the virtual workshop, participants will briefly introduce their planned grant, followed by feedback and discussion with their two assigned reviewers.

Workshop Sessions
Week of December 7, 2026

Virtual via Zoom. Each session will be scheduled at a time that works for the participating investigator and their two assigned reviewers.

Research Focus

Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) grant submissions

Eligibility

Investigators at any career stage are welcome to participate. Participants must be EdDem Network members and must agree to submit their materials by November 17. Investigators who are not yet members can join the Network before participating. Additional materials are requested for K mechanisms and revised applications; see the workshop webpage for full participation requirements.

Proposal Due Date Details

Deadlines

  • October 13, 2026: Project title, target submission date, and NIA grant mechanism
  • November 17, 2026: Specific Aims page and 2-4 sentences describing the significance of the project and its innovation
