Event Description
New sources of information spanning multimodal data offer unprecedented opportunities to understand the complex biological, behavioral, social, and environmental factors that influence health and aging. At the same time, emerging data systems raise important questions about data quality, secure access, privacy, stewardship, and the analytic approaches needed to generate reliable and actionable evidence.
Through a series of lightning talks and panel discussions, participants will examine how to move from big data to big ideas faster to transform abundant data into meaningful scientific insights; identify critical gaps and opportunities; and consider the infrastructure and partnerships needed to support new frontiers in aging and AD/ADRD research.
