The Michigan Center on the Demography of Aging (MiCDA) will be hosting a virtual Grant Preparation workshop this fall, open to early-career affiliates and emerging scholars from any of the NIA Demography & Economics of Aging Centers.
Dates: Tuesday, October 27, 2026 (2:00–5:00 PM ET) & Wednesday, October 28, 2026 (1:00–5:00 PM ET)
Format: Virtual, Zoom
Who should attend: Early-career affiliates and emerging scholars of any NIA funded Demography & Economics of Aging Center
What is covered: The curriculum includes a panel discussion on external funding, an introduction to NIH funding resources and proposal writing, and a hands-on component on grant preparation logistics and strategy.
