This is the 10th annual workshop designed to share leading research methods and findings on comparative patterns and determinants of adult mortality, morbidity, and healthy aging in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). Power analysis can be one of the more challenging parts of preparing an NIH grant, particularly for emerging scholars writing their first R or K application. This practical workshop will cover power analysis for commonly used study designs, including what to do when the proposed analysis does not fit neatly into a standard power calculator.

This is the 2nd seminar in a monthly DECC/GECC webinar series focused on topics of interest to the DECC community, including measurements of cognition, accessibility, heat, and stress. The webinar series aims to share opportunities, resources, and methods that support and enable innovative and interdisciplinary research.
