This workshop will advance the science and practice of implementation and innovation to improve the care and outcomes of older adults. Hosted this year by Duke University, the workshop's hybrid format with a focus on VA implementation, allows for in-person interactive sessions, mentorship and workgroups and uses a webinar platform to engage a wider virtual audience for plenary presentation.

This project examines how recent tobacco control policies and emerging products are impacting population health and aging.

The Conference Series on Aging in the Americas (CAA) utilizes research to augment knowledge about dimensions of healthful aging for people of Hispanic and Latin American descent. As this topic rapidly develops as a major policy and national budget issue, the CAA also aims to foster emerging scholars in the field. Iterations of the conference series, ICAA meetings, are held each year.

These seminars are designed for researchers studying issues at the intersections of topics related to the life course and demography.

Dr. Deb Niemeier is the Clark Distinguished Chair in Energy and Sustainability at the University of Maryland, College Park, and a professor in the Dept. of Civil and Environmental Engineering and affiliate professor in the College of Information Studies.

MINNESOTA DEMOGRAPHY AND AGING SEMINAR: These seminars are designed for researchers studying issues at the intersections of topics related to the life course and demography.

The Science of Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease Related Dementias (AD/ADRD) for Social Scientists Program is a unique two-day series of lectures featuring nationally recognized clinical, biomedical and other interdisciplinary experts in the AD/ADRD field. Experts deliver scientific lectures tailored to social scientists, covering advances in biomarkers, therapeutics, disease pathology, clinical care models, among others. The two-day program will take place at USC’s University Park Campus in Los Angeles, California. The application deadline is Friday, July 31, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. PT.

This workshop will focus on measuring disability and functioning in longitudinal studies that include a focus on aging.
